Huge Cascading Waterfall for an Elopement or Engagement Video

Love is an adventure, so let’s tell your story in a spot that’s just as adventurous.

We’re headed down the trail just off the A.T. to a waterfall that is loved by everyone. The trail is mostly downhill to the waterfall, and very well maintained, so the walk down is pretty easy and only takes about half an hour.

If we take our time, we’ll come across several small cascades in the stream, including several really nice pools of water that could make a great setting for a photo or video shoot in their own right. We travel next to the stream the entire trip, so we can stop and grab a shot in a cool spot any time.

Coming up on the waterfall is magical. The approach is from the top, coming around a bend, so all of a sudden the waterfall is right there, with the biggest cascades towering overhead to the right and countless medium and smaller cascades continuing down to the left. Yeah, we’re standing right in the middle of it.

Also right there in the middle is a crystal clear pool, about shin deep, and you can walk right up under the falling water. Be careful, though, as the rocks are very slippery in and around the pool, as well as many other places on the cascades. (I learned this the hard way.)

One of the best things about this waterfall is exploring the different cascades and pools as we go down. It has so many pools, levels, splits, and outcroppings, and you can reach them by rock hopping (careful… slippery!) or by the trail that slopes down right along the whole falls until it crosses over via footbridge over some of the lower cascades.

This is one of the best spots! You gotta come check it out for an amazing elopement or engagement shoot. If you’d like to explore this place, send me a message.

My name is Carl and I tell love stories.
